Hibernation

Winter months are such a gift. Going into the cave. While it may appear that all is still nothing could be further from the truth. Hibernation is a deep sleep that helps to save energy and survive the winter without eating much. During hibernation the animal’s body temperature drops, and its heartbeat and its breathing slow down so that it does not use much energy. Hibernation is a survival strategy designed to conserve energy when conditions are harsh.

Our modernized culture all but ignores the natural response to our environment. Consider the possibility of a long winter nap. Shifting perception of activity to allowing the concept of hibernation giving space to dreaming or downloading. To excavate the abundance of our own gathering.
